以前Age of Empires公式は3月のInside Xboxでエキサイティングな発表があるとアナウンスしていましたが、実際のInside XboxのショーではAge of Empiresには触れられませんでした。 Age of Empires公式Twitterはこの件について謝罪しています。

公式Twitterでは｢Inside Xboxのショーの内容が変更されましたが、すぐにエキサイティングなニュースが発表されないわけではありません。 公式サイトのニュースから目を離さないでください。｣とツイートしています。
このことから発表は近日中に行われる予定であるようです。
続報がないAge of Empires
Age of Empiresシリーズと言えばマイクロソフトが誇るリアルタイムストラテジーゲームシリーズです。 2017年の8月にAge of EmpiresIVとAge of EmpiresII:Definitive EditionとAge of Empires III: Definitive Editionが発表されましたが、その後続報がないままとなっています。
次の発表でAge of Empiresに関するどんな発表が行われるかは分かりませんが、もうしばらく待つ必要がありそうです。
