2018年10月頃にWindows10の次のメジャーアップデートはVibraniumとなり、その次のマイナーアップデートがVanadiumとなるという噂が流れました。
しかし現在Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 18950からWindows 10 VBという文字列が発見されたため、この噂は本当だったと裏付けられたようです。
VBはVisual Basicではない
もしもWindows 10 VBの意味が”Visual Basic Edition"だと間違えた人がいた場合、SDKのUSBドライバーを見ればはっきりと｢Win10_VIBRANIUM｣の文字を確認することが出来ます。
Vibraniumとは？
Vibranium（ヴィブラニウム）はマーベルコミックスに登場する架空の金属。 ブラックパンサーの故郷ワカンダで産出され、彼のスーツに使われているほか、キャプテンアメリカの盾にも使われているという設定になっています。
